In order to ensure the effectiveness of our treatment, we were progressive in our search for an evidenced-based outcomes measurement tool. 

Our commitment to treating the entire family is one of our strengths.  Often, mental health providers will focus on the “identified patient”, which for children, perpetuates the “fix my child; they are the problem, not me” parental stance.  Using our family-focused approach, the family becomes an engaged part of the process, not simply bystanders of the work being done.

We are “customer service” focused.  YHS exists to “serve” those we treat; to partner with them in finding their success.  We tailor our services to the needs of each client/family, often going to schools, homes, and jails to meet their needs.  We see each client/family, school staff, DJJ staff, DSS staff, etc. as our “customer” and it is our job and focus to serve our customers and meet their individual needs.
